• Bloom Inspire Award: Recognising the most inspiring Bloomer of the year—someone whose energy, passion, and voice have motivated others to aim higher and do better. They contribute thoughtful perspectives in discussions, shared stories, or maybe have sparked meaningful conversations in the community - truly living our values.

• Bloomin' Driven Award: Awarded to the Bloomer who embodies our values by creating impactful change, inspiring others, and driving positive transformations both within Bloom and beyond.

• Bloomin' Kind Award: In line with our values, this award acknowledging the Bloomer who has shown exceptional kindness throughout the year, spreading positivity and compassion across the Bloom community. It's the Bloomer who has gone above and beyond to support, guide, and uplift others.

• Bloomin' Fun Award:  Embodying one of our core values, this award is for the Bloomer who brought the most joy and fun/laughter to member mixers, making every event more enjoyable and memorable.

• Ally Of The Year: Recognising the individual who has been an outstanding ally, consistently supporting and advocating for people in the Bloom community. They brings warmth, light, and positivity to everyday interactions, helping others feel seen and valued.

• Ambassador Of The Year: Honouring the Bloomer who has worked tirelessly to promote Bloom externally, championing our mission and values to the world. They help spread Bloom’s message—sharing posts, inviting others to events, or simply being a vocal advocate.

• Inclusion Group Leader Of The Year: Honouring the Inclusion Group Lead whose efforts have been instrumental in making this year a success for Bloom, championing diversity and inclusion at every step. The Bloomer whose genuine care and authenticity make Bloom feel like a safe, welcoming space for others.

• Community Champion: Recognising the Bloomer who has shown most engagement and connection efforts within the Bloom community – they help others find their people—introducing members, making connections, and helping build a sense of belonging.

• Bloom Impact Award: Exclusively chosen by President and not open to nominations, this award is for the Bloomer that has created most impact in line with Bloom's mission and strategy this year. Not open to nominations.

Are the awards free to enter?

Yes! There is no entry fee to enter a nomination for an award.

Can a person be nominated in more than one category?

Yes of course! We know many Bloomers are multi talented and might have so many things to be celebrated.

Is there an unfair advantage if someone is nominated more than one in the same category?

No. We understand that by having nominations open for anyone to nominate others as well as self, there might be multiple entries for one person in a single category. The judges will be reviewing each nomination and where there are multiple for one person, they will aggregate the reasons together, but that person still has the same chance as anyone else to win.

Why can't I nominate someone for certain categories?

There are some award categories that don't require and are not open for nominations. This is because these awards will be determined based on what the Leadership Team have observed and recognised this year.

Do I have to be present on the night to be eligible to win?

We would of course love you to be there on the night if you have been shortlisted, but understand that it isn't always possible to attend. This does not affect your chances of winning.

Can I nominate someone outside of Bloom?

No these awards are to celebrate those within the Bloom community. There are so many of us, with so much individual talent to shout about and recognised we're convinced we'll have plenty of nominations to read through already!

I am not a Bloom member, can I still nominate a Bloom member for an award?

No, these awards are about Bloomers recognising fellow Bloomers. So for now, we are keeping it to within the community only. Who knows - in future this may change!

How will you ensure a fair judging process?

We have assigned judges to categories based on their experience and knowledge of certain categories where relevant, and have two judges per category to enable cross-referencing and eliminate bias. We will also read entries without their names included to ensure fairness too.

What happens if an entry is submitted after the closing date?

Sorry, but this entry won't be included in the judging process. We have to have a cut off to ensure fairness and allow ample time for reading through all the lovely nominations and judging.
