What is The Exchange? 

The Exchange is a two-way mentoring programme that aims to open up an honest dialogue between the sexes that could help break down the stereotypes that limit the way we interact. 

It is an opportunity for industry-leading men and Bloom women in our industry to be matched in pairs to explore the new future we face and together, forge a new way to look at gender in the workplace, making it more equal for all. 

What would I do if I got involved?

If you get involved, you’ll participate in a powerful six month programme built around honest and confidential conversations that go beyond dialogue to drive real change. Together in pairs, you’ll explore inclusive leadership, empathy, and bias, while taking practical steps to implement what you learn. Bloom women and senior men will mentor each other; sharing perspectives on retaining and advancing diverse talent, fostering fair and equitable workplaces, and overcoming barriers to leadership together.  For everyone, this is not just a chance to discuss ideas, but an opportunity to act; translating insights from these conversations into positive change within your organisation and across our industry.


Who should sign up?

The ideal Bloom women for The Exchange will be leaders who are influential within their company and have lived experiences which could enlighten and influence senior male leaders in their decision making and company culture.  Ideal Bloom partners will be up for being open-minded, ready to listen and be listened to, as well as comfortable discussing difficult realities with senior males.  Most of all, it is key that you are motivated to start to close the gender divide in our industry, one conversation at a time.  

You must be able to attend the following events in London:

  • Kick-off and training event on Wednesday 13th May 9.30am - 12pm

  • Mid point connect training session Tuesday 15th September 9.30am - 12pm

  • Closing session Wednesday 11th November 9.30am - 12pm
