Well… Bloomfest happened! 🪩

And I’m still smiling.

Brilliant conversations. Big laughs. Dancing. Play. Honest stories. New connections. Many “I’m so glad I came” moments and “this was the best Bloomfest yet”... Wowsers!!

As President of Bloom UK, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

To our Bloom UK Board, SLT and wonderful volunteers...honestly, I don’t know what we’d have done without you. From leading on events and securing partnerships to promoting the night, supporting our members and mentees and rolling up your sleeves on the day… you absolutely smashed it.

And a special thank you to Bloom Neurodiversity Inclusion Group for helping us make sure our communications and events continue to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.

To everyone who bought a ticket (Inc. a few male allies!) came along, got involved, danced, connected and helped us raise funds for our national charity partners Women's Aid Federation of England… Thank you!

Bloomfest this year was built around a simple idea: that sometimes we need the courage to play, take a risk, try something different and give ourselves permission not to take everything so seriously.

I think we did exactly that. 💃🏽

The party may be over, but the Blooming definitely isn’t. 🌷
